Your style always feels so intentional — how has it evolved since becoming a mum?

Becoming a mum has definitely simplified the way I get dressed. I have less time in the mornings, so I tend to lean into pieces that feel effortless but still pulled together. I’ve made a conscious effort to prioritise getting ready most days, it helps me feel like myself.. even if that just means great denim, a tee or a knit, and taking a few extra minutes on hair and makeup.

What has surprised you most about motherhood so far?

How much you learn about yourself alongside your baby. There’s this constant growth, you become more patient, more resilient and while life suddenly feels very fast-paced, they also have this beautiful way of slowing everything down at the same time.

What’s a piece in your wardrobe that carried you through pregnancy and postpartum?

A really great pair of jeans,  wore one particular pair right up until the day before I gave birth, which still feels slightly unbelievable. The other standout was the Rue Dress from Caitlin Crisp; it carried me through so many winter events and just made getting dressed feel easy.

As mothers, we’re constantly giving our time and energy to others — what do you do to make sure your own cup stays full?

Carving out small pockets of time for myself has been essential even if that means a 6am Pilates class before the day begins. Those 45 minutes set the tone for everything; I feel more grounded, more energised, and ultimately able to give more to everyone else.

What do you love most about being a mum?

The perspective shift. I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude every day, and it’s changed the way I see almost everything. If anything, it’s made me a more present, considered version of myself.
